How
we set the budget
We work with you during your initial consultancy to establish your
budget and requirements. We will present you with ideas to suit your budget
and discuss this before presenting a proposal and quote.
We can stage
the landscape development over an agreed period in order to fully implement
the work within a flexible budgetary framework. We prepare special
construction stages reports as part of the planning process.(See
approach)
Please note all prices include GST
- We charge $125 for the initial consultancy (this involves us assessing your site and your requirements).
- Consequent consultancies are charged at $125 per hour. Consultancy includes meetings, site visits and report writing.
- Meetings and site visits have an upper dollar limit of $275.
- Reports are charged at an hourly rate of $115.50. For clients going ahead with plans the report is included in the plan price.
Plans
Plans and drawings are quoted on a job-by-job basis.
We do meticulous, creative plans that include all features, plant list and materials notification.

Construction project management
The fee for project managing your garden's construction is determined
on the size of the project.
This fee covers all organisation of and liaison with all trades involved in hard construction and soft landscaping, site visits and meetings during the construction:
- carpentry
- form work/concreting
- paving
- plumbing
- electrical work
- pond construction
- irrigation
- specialist horticultural services such as tree removal and transplantation.
This means you don't have to:
- find suitable tradespeople
- organise for them to arrive
- supervise their work or
- negotiate with them.
We do all that for you so the whole experience is much easier.
We have used the one landscaping firm to construct our gardens for many years. They undertake top quality work, are careful and efficient and communicate well with the design team and clients.
We have also built up strong working relationships with specialists over the years such as irrigators in order to provide the best quality work and materials.
Landscape construction
Fees are as quoted for each individual item of work. The quote includes
both hard construction and soft landscaping work broken down into
each individual item. Hard construction includes items like paving and
retaining walls and soft landscaping includes soil preparation and planting.
Quotes
Our
quotations include detailed itemisation of materials and labour
for all work undertaken, from site preparation to planting. We will also
provide quotes for a range of materials to assist you in your choices,
for example a selection of pavers and their costs.
Final report
We provide all clients with a final report
which includes "before" photos and plant lists so you have a
detailed visual record and information about the plants.
