GARDEN CARE

Mulch: alternative to lawn

A lush green lawn is often the perfect surface in a garden. Soft to walk on, cool to the senses, and a great space for children to play.

But for some gardens a lawn is not the best option. A garden may be too small to warrant mowing, too shady to grow a good lawn, or for purely aesthetic reasons another material may look so much better.

One of the best alternatives to lawn is mulch. A fine mulch laid to depth will function well as a soft surface yet be firm enough to support a garden party with lots of guests and garden furniture.

And of course it doesn't require mowing!
